How to make Silent or Portable Installer with Winrar

**Select All installed files. right click on any file add to archive and browse where u

want to save the silent installer (i m saving in :J Drive).. tick mark on create sfx archive and create solid

archive. then click on Advance and then sfx options...

Here u will many tabs...

1.)General, insert your directory name in which application will b installed...

eg:- Internet Download Manager

choose Create in Program Files.

and tick Mark on Save and restore paths.


2.) in Update Tab:-
Extract and replace files
Overwrite all files.


3.)Text and icon

You can Load SFX icon from the file

4.) Modes
Click on Hide all

5.)Advanced... (optional)
click on add shortcuts
select Desktop


Source file name = name of a file which u want to create a shortcut

shortcut name = name u want after shortcut has been created.

Click ok ok and ok. silent installer is ready...
